Job summary

Reblade seeks a Senior Software Team Lead to steer on-site and remote engineers, owning the software stack across embedded systems, robotics, and cloud-backed applications. You will work with a diverse, international team to deliver robust, scalable software that operates in both the lab and the field.

You will guide architecture, set development priorities, and mentor engineers, ensuring high-quality code and seamless hardware-software integration in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience leading software teams and distributed developers.
• Strong background in embedded systems, robotics software, or hardware-integrated software.
• Experience with ArduPilot, ROS2 or similar frameworks.
• Excellent communication in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site and remote software engineering team.
• Own the software architecture and ensure system stability.
• Guide development across embedded systems, robotics software, and supporting components.
• Maintain high code quality, version control, tests, and documentation.
• Collaborate with hardware, robotics, and testing teams for integration.
• Identify technical risks early and lead troubleshooting.
• Plan development priorities and coordinate delivery.
• Mentor engineers and grow technical capability.
• Support system debugging during development and field tests.
• Drive fast but efficient development practices.
