Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

The Test Engineer position is based in our R&D center in Kolding, Denmark and focuses on developing energy management products, particularly 3‑phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and power converters.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex problems, using knowledge of high‑power equipment
• Define and plan mechanical and electrical tests on UPS products
• Build test setups, recreate customer issues and work with the team to implement solutions
• Define, plan and execute Verification & Validation tests and regulatory compliance and certification tests
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality releases
• Participate in new test methodology development, and adapt to applicable new technologies or tools

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Test Engineer or Verification & Validation engineer with knowledge of 3‑phase data center UPS products
• Background in Power Electronics, Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• Experience and knowledge of electronic hardware power design, including power converters and 3‑phase power systems
• Basic understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Certification (IEC/UL/EMI, etc.) is an advantage
• Full proficiency in written and spoken English
