The Impact You'll Make
Join the Quality Assurance team within Danfoss Power Solutions in Nordborg as our Test Engineer (f/m/d) and help drive product quality and reliability through advanced failure analysis and troubleshooting. In this role, you'll investigate complex customer claims and returned products, uncovering the root causes behind findings across electronics, software, and mechanical systems within our Connect & Control Solutions (CCS) business.

You'll play a key role in understanding how products perform in the field and turning technical findings into improvements that strengthen product performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

You'll connect technicians, engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders to drive investigations, identify root causes, and support effective corrective actions.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Investigate customer claims, returned products, and internal quality cases to uncover root causes and improve product reliability
  • Analyze complex technical findings involving electronics, embedded software, and mechanical interfaces, using structured problem-solving methods to identify effective solutions
  • Lead laboratory troubleshooting and testing activities, including recreating intermittent or difficult-to-reproduce failure modes to validate findings and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, manufacturing teams, and quality stakeholders to align on findings, drive corrective actions, and continuously improve how challenges are identified and resolved
  • Expand your understanding of products, technologies, and customer applications to uncover insights that strengthen quality, reliability, and future product performance
What We're Looking For
  • Background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, combined with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, testing, reliability, failure analysis, or quality engineering
  • Strong knowledge of electronics and electronic circuit analysis, including the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, product drawings, and technical documentation
  • Experience investigating technical challenges across electronics and software, with the ability to understand how mechanical, environmental, and application-related factors can influence product performance
  • Hands-on experience using laboratory and diagnostic equipment to investigate complex or intermittent findings, identify root causes, and validate solutions
  • A proactive and structured approach with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, combined with the curiosity to explore complex problems, learn new technologies, and challenge conventional thinking when searching for answers
What You'll Get from Us

You’ll join a collaborative environment where quality, innovation, and continuous improvement go hand in hand. Working closely with experts across engineering, manufacturing, and quality, you’ll have the opportunity to build your expertise across electronics, software, reliability, and product performance while contributing to meaningful solutions for customers around the world.

  • You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
Ready to Make a Difference?

If you're excited by troubleshooting complex systems and helping improve the quality and reliability of innovative products, we'd love to hear from you. Even if you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. Your perspective could be exactly what we're looking for.
