  • Fluency in English language.

Job description

We are looking for a Power Electronics Lead Engineer to join our R&D team in Kolding, Denmark. You will bring expertise to drive the development of our next generation of solutions and a passion for continuous learning. Alongside technical expertise, you will build relationships with stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:
  • Develop UPS and large kVA 3ph converters as part of our global R&D team
  • Lead R&D activities in your domain, including electronic subassembly design (schematics, PCB layout) and testing
  • Take end-to-end ownership of the design from early design phase, collaborating with firmware, mechanical, electrical, verification, and validation experts
  • Ensure that designed products meet safety, functional and cost requirements
  • Own design for safety, reliability and cost activities
  • Support sales, marketing, manufacturing and technical support in solving customer needs and issues
  • Be involved in defined projects/squads, ensuring objectives are met and within budget
  • Assess trade-offs between business needs, technology requirements, cost and risk
  • Contribute to our innovation and secure patents for innovative ideas
  • Develop your power electronics practices and competencies to reach a technical expertise level
