Job summary

Schneider Electric is looking for professionals to design and implement solutions for our 3-phase data center UPS products. The role requires a strong foundation in electronic circuit design, along with hands-on experience in power electronics and hardware design.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor or Master degree in relevant fields and at least 3 years of experience in power design. We offer a modern workplace and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electronic hardware power design.
• Solid understanding of qualification and reliability parameters.
• Experience with 3-phase power inverter topologies is a plus.

Job description

What you will be doing

• Analyze complex problems and define and implement solutions in our 3-phase data center UPS products
• Electronic circuit design, PCB design, Quality improvements
• Core control hardware expert for 3-phase UPS products
• Product and component qualification, Verification & Validation and regulatory compliance and certification
• Train or mentoring new team members on the subject matter
• Other assignments as required

What will help you succeed

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Power Electronics, Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience
• Experience and knowledge on electronic hardware power design, including Power components, capacitors, magnetics, IGBT, MOSFET
• Experience and understanding of power systems simulation software
• Solid understanding of parameters, calculations, qualification and reliability
• Knowledge and experience with 3-phase power inverter topologies and design is a plus
• Basic understanding of Regulatory compliance and Certification (IEC/UL/EMI etc.) is an advantage
• You are fully proficient with written and spoken English
