Job summary

Schneider Electric Denmark is seeking a Technical Lead to join our Nordic Digital Power Application Center. You will lead technical aspects of customer projects from initial meetings to tendering and execution, ensuring compliance with requirements and delivery excellence.

You will collaborate with technical and sales teams across sites, drive technical scope, and mentor engineers in power distribution and SCADA/automation systems. Strong English and Danish are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or higher in electrical/computer/automation engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution and control systems.
  • Experience with SCADA/HMI programming and commissioning.
  • Good command of English; Danish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to create technical offers.
  • Drive technical scope and philosophy toward sales and clients.
  • Create, review, and approve technical specifications for SCADA and control systems.
  • Advise and support Project Managers with technical solutions and troubleshooting.
  • Join execution teams to ensure technical quality during delivery.
  • Contribute to adopting new technologies within the team.

We are growing fast in the Nordic countries and are now looking for a Technical Lead to join our Nordic Digital Power Application Center.

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of customer integrated projects, ensuring compliance with technical requirements from initial customer meetings to the tendering process and into the execution phase. You will also play a crucial role in risk management, change management, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. You will be part of the customer project execution team within our Application Center, working in collaboration with our technical teams, tender managers, and sales teams that are spread across multiple sites and countries.

Whatyou'llbe doing:
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to create the right technical solution offers for customers
  • Drive technical scope and philosophy toward sales, clients, and sub-suppliers
  • Create, review, and approve technical specifications and documentation regarding Scada and control systems for power distribution
  • Advise and support Project Managers and Automation Engineers with technical solutions, troubleshooting, and programming
  • Join the execution team during project delivery to ensure technical quality excellence and customer requirements are met
  • Ensure new technologies are continuously added to the team and take part in that development
What Will Help You Succeed In This Role
  • Having an Electrical, Computer or Automation Engineering degree or other relevant engineering education
  • Solid understanding of medium and low voltage switchgear solutions, common monitoring and control systems functionality and user requirements
  • Solid experience in common power distribution communication protocols, industrial Ethernet and communication protocols such as Modbus, Modbus TCP, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104 or DNP3
  • Basic understanding about the use of IED´s, LV CB protection devices, arc guard, residual current monitoring, interlocking functions and reading electrical design
  • Knowledge and previous use of Schneider Electric equipment like Modicon, Harmony, EcoStruxure software, Easergy, EasyLogic, PowerLogic is desirable
  • Knowledge of Ethernet networks in terms of hardware and software solutions, cybersecurity, and high availability OT system solutions
  • Experience with power distribution automation, loadshedding, Automatic Transfer Switching and tap-changer automation
  • Experienced in programming and commissioning of SCADA and HMI solutions
  • Passionate about tailoring solutions to meet customer requirements, enjoy presenting and is happy to support and teach others
  • You are technically curious, solution-oriented, and motivated by learning and development
  • Effective communication skills in English and Danish are required
