Job summary

Hamamatsu Photonics is seeking a highly skilled Team Lead within Production Test Development to join a global, high‑tech lab. You will act as a technical authority for LabVIEW and TestStand, shaping testing strategies and enabling production industrialization for advanced photonics products.

The role balances hands‑on software development with technical leadership, guiding a small team of specialists while collaborating with R&D, Product Owners and Production to drive continuous improvements and

Qualifications

Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand for automated test solutions.
Hands-on software development for test environments.
Strong instrumentation and signal analysis background.
Experience supporting complex technical products.
Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.

Responsibilities

Further develop and shape the future direction of Hamamatsu's LabVIEW/TestStand framework
Design, code and implement automated test solutions using LabVIEW and TestStand
Support product industrialization and manufacturing excellence
Drive continuous improvements across test architectures and methodologies
Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Owners, and Production teams
Ensure robust data collection, analysis, and traceability
Provide technical leadership and coordination for a small team of highly specialised engineers and test development specialists
Facilitate technical alignment, prioritization, and knowledge sharing
Support the evolution of future testing technologies and frameworks
