Job summary

Hamamatsu Photonics A/S is seeking a Technical Project Manager for Quantum Systems to lead the development, assembly, and testing of custom laser system products and prototypes based on ultra-stable fiber lasers. You will interface with sales, support and engineering to provide updates and technical guidance on customer inquiries, while ensuring on-time delivery and high quality.

As part of the Quantum Systems team, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary engineers and production specialists,

Qualifications

Master's degree in photonics or related field.
Strong background in managing high-tech projects.
Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in optics or quantum tech.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel up to 10% annually.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage technical projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Coordinate cross-functional teams of optical, mechanical and electronics engineers, commercial stakeholders, and production specialists.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear updates.
Develop project plans, risk assessments, and resource allocations for smooth execution.
Support strategic decision-making by sharing feasibility insights and customer requirements.
