VELUX is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join the Strategic Programme Office in Østbirk. You will drive governance, prepare executive materials and translate strategic ambition into actionable decisions across multiple functions.

The role demands strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management and fluency in English, with a track record in transforming complex issues into concise guidance for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Have 3–6 years of experience from a leading strategy consulting firm or a strategy, transformation or programme management role within a larger international organisation.
• Hold a relevant higher education degree.
• Experience supporting governance structures or programme offices for complex, cross-functional initiatives involving senior executives.
• Strong capabilities in structured problem-solving, analytical thinking, stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Experience with negotiation, change management and organisational alignment.
• Solid understanding of business cases and the financial logic underpinning strategic decisions.
• Can translate complex and technical topics into concise and impactful communication for senior leadership.
• Are comfortable operating between strategic direction and operational execution.
• Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• Thrive when collaborating and influencing rather than relying on formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Drive the programme governance cycle, including preparation for Steering Committee, Executive Group Management and Board of Directors meetings.
• Prepare agendas, pre-reads, decision materials, decision logs and follow-up actions.
• Develop clear, compelling and decision-oriented materials and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Consolidate and structure input from multiple functions and translate it into fact-based recommendations and decision proposals.
• Maintain the integrated programme plan, including key deliverables, decision points and cross-functional dependencies.
• Ensure systematic follow-up on executive decisions, conditions and actions.
• Support reporting of programme status, risks, issues and required decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Group Finance on the programme business case, financial assumptions and financial steering.
• Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders across Sales & Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Strategy & Execution.
• Support the continuous development and professionalisation of programme management and governance practices within Products & Innovation.
