Job summary

Unilabs Pharma Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across our specialist bioanalytical, biomarker, immunogenicity and clinical laboratory services.

You will identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across biotech, specialty pharma and pharmaceutical sponsors, with a particular focus on organisations with active clinical development and post-launch testing needs.

Qualifications

• You have a successful track record in business development within CRO, bioanalysis, diagnostics, central laboratory services or related Life Science environments, with experience creating new opportunities and converting complex sales into signed business.
• You understand clinical development and can engage credibly with senior scientific, clinical, commercial and outsourcing stakeholders within pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations.
• You are a commercially driven relationship builder who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory and target account strategies
• Identify and engage biotech, specialty pharma and pharmaceutical sponsors with relevant clinical development and post-launch testing programmes
• Generate and qualify new business opportunities through networking, conferences, market intelligence and targeted outreach
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Clinical Development, Translational Medicine, Medical Affairs and Outsourcing
• Present Unilabs’ capabilities across bioanalysis, biomarkers, immunogenicity, companion diagnostics and related laboratory services
• Identify opportunities to support customers from clinical development through to post-launch testing
• Develop customer‑specific solutions together with scientific experts
• Lead commercial negotiations and proposal processes
• Build long‑term relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors, CRO partners, consultants and other organisations involved in drug development
