Unilabs Pharma Solutions in Copenhagen is expanding its project management team with a Senior Project Manager role. You will link international pharma customers with a skilled laboratory team, leading timelines, budgets and multi-site deliveries across Unilabs’ network and external vendors.
You will cultivate long-term partnerships, identify opportunities with customers, and guide junior colleagues while reporting to the Head of Site Copenhagen.
Do you thrive at the intersection of science, customer relationships and complex project delivery? At Unilabs Pharma Solutions in Copenhagen, you will be the link between international pharma and biotech customers and a skilled team of scientists and laboratory specialists.
To support continued growth, Unilabs Pharma Solutions is expanding its project management team with a newly established Senior Project Manager position. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Site Copenhagen and contribute to the successful delivery of customer projects. Unilabs is one of Europe’s leading providers of diagnostic services. The position is based in Unilabs Pharma Solutions in Copenhagen, a specialty laboratory that supports pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide with bioanalysis, immunoassays, molecular biology and CDx programs – primarily in the later stages of drug development and clinical studies.
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of strategically important customers and complex projects and act as the customer’s primary point of contact. You will lead the project team and manage timelines, budgets and deliveries across internal teams, Unilabs’ Pharma sites in the UK, Centres of Excellence in other Unilabs countries and external vendors – all in line with Unilabs’ project management model and quality system. At the same time, you will work closely with Business Development and help identify new opportunities with your customers.
Your portfolio will range from long-term partnerships with large international customers – some running for more than ten years – to smaller biotech projects lasting from six months to several years, and projects in the implementation phase that require close follow-up and troubleshooting. The company is growing, and you will have the opportunity to help shape how the project management group works in the future.
You hold a relevant higher education, for example within natural sciences, health or the laboratory field, but other backgrounds are also welcome. You have at least five years of experience in project management or key account management, including complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You understand the pharmaceutical R&D process, and experience from a CRO, laboratory services or biotech, as well as knowledge of GCP/GCLP, IVDR and ISO 15189/17025, is an advantage. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
At Unilabs Pharma Solutions, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality projects that support the development of new medicines. Acting as the link between science and the customer, you will work closely with international clients and a highly skilled laboratory team to ensure successful project delivery and long-term customer relationships.
This is a varied role offering close collaboration with the laboratory, the opportunity to influence and help shape the development of the project management group, and the chance to make a real impact in a small, informal workplace where colleagues support each other and work together to achieve shared goals.
The position is based at Unilabs’ laboratory on Nygårdsvej 32 in Copenhagen Ø. If you are structured, customer-oriented, and enjoy balancing priorities across multiple projects, we look forward to receiving your application.
