Job summary

Cetec Energy is seeking a Lead Stimulation Engineer to drive design, validation and safe execution of stimulation activities across onshore projects with offshore trips. You will lead technical planning, collaborate with Drilling and Well Services, and ensure compliant operations within budget and schedule.

The role requires a strong background in stimulation with drilling and offshore supervision, plus exceptional English communication.

Qualifications

University degree in a relevant technical discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Proven experience in Stimulation, Drilling and Well Services.
Experience with offshore supervision.
Strong understanding of stimulation planning, design and execution.
Experience with technical validation, cost estimates and operational planning.
Strong HSE leadership and ability to work with service providers and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent English communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and approve stimulation designs and validations.
Develop and manage stimulation schedules and stimulation sequence RFCs.
Provide technical validation of stimulation programmes and ensure appropriate technology selection.
Approve Subsurface Memos, RFC/MoC related to stimulation and End of Well Reports.
Ensure stimulation operations are delivered within the approved budget and schedule.
Prepare AFE and cost estimates for stimulation activities.
Manage long-term resource planning, including POB, personnel and equipment.
Provide technical and operational support to Drilling, Well Services and Stimulation activities.
Support IOP and stimulation/intervention planning.
Manage stimulation contracts through continuous evaluation, SQM and KPI tracking.
Provide technical input to stimulation vessel contracts.
Support preparation, launch and evaluation of relevant Call for Tenders.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, local regulations and chemical discharge permits.
Lead and support SIMOPS delivery, RSES-D activities and HSE/operational incident investigations.
Drive continuous improvement and ensure lessons learned are shared across the asset and wider organisation.
Maintain databases covering well technology treatments and costs.
Provide input to annual budgets and Long-Term Planning (LTP).
Support stage gate documentation and derogations.
Provide technical support and designs for drilling projects.
