Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a Stimulation Lead to plan and supervise stimulation activities onshore with offshore offshoots, ensuring safety and performance within budget. The role requires a strong background in stimulation, drilling, and well services, plus excellent English communication.

The candidate will uphold technical validation, support drilling projects, and drive continuous improvement across operations, while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards.

• Expert in English with Clear & Concise Communication: Explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise stimulation activities within schedule and budget.
• Validate stimulation designs and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintain Well Technology treatments database and cost tracking.
• Provide technical and operational support to drilling, well service, and stimulation.
• Lead HSE initiatives and ensure safety culture on site.
• Oversee contracts for stimulation vessels and related services.

Location to Perform the Work: Onshore + occasional offshore trips

SCOPE OF WORK

Approve (Veto power on a decision and sign off actions):

• Subsurface Memos according to SOR well delivery process.
• RFC/MoC related to stimulation of a well.
• End of Well Reports (Close Out).
• Invoicing

Responsible (ensures output or end result):

• Stimulation Schedule.
• Stimulation sequence RFCs.
• Ensures that programs are technically validated, best technology selected, lessons learned incorporated.
• Maintain database on Well Technology treatments and costs.
• Deliver the stimulation operations within the approved Budget.
• Demonstrates HSE leadership in accordance with company Group objectives and promote a safety culture with the team and service providers.
• Maintain records of chemical usage and discharge to ensure compliance with chemical discharge permits.
• Manage improvement proposals within area of responsibility.
• Manage stimulation contracts through continuous evaluation, SQM’s, and KPI tracking.
• Assess and deliver proposed 3C initiatives in areas of relevance.
• RSES-D for stimulation activities.
• SIMOPS delivery for stimulation activities.
• HSE and operational incidents investigations.
• Provide input to the Continuous Improvement Process in order to review the performance of our operations and share learnings across the asset and wider company group.
• Compliance of well operations with local regulations
• Deliverables as per SOR delivery process.
• Long term, outside 5-week plan, resource allocation (POB, personnel, equipment).
• AFE/cost estimates for stimulations.
• Stimulation designs and validations
• Provide support and designs for company Drilling Projects.

Deliver (Provide input or support to person responsible):

• Technical and operational support to Drilling, Well service and Stimulation activities.
• Technical Contract Duet for following contracts: Stimulation Vessels
• Provide input into the IOP, stimulation/Intervention planning.
• Preparation, launching and evaluation of any relevant Call For Tenders along with C&P duet
• Engagement with frontline leadership through a quarterly management visit.
• AFE and cost estimates.
• LTP input.

The Stimulation Lead is accountable for planning and safe execution of all stimulation activities within scheduled activities and budget. Further he is accountable for stimulation designs and validation of stimulation activities in relation to company drilling projects.

BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

• University degree in relevant technical discipline
• 10 years successful industry experience within Stimulation, Drilling, Well Services and offshore supervision.
• Expert in English with Clear & Concise Communication: Explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• IWCF Well Control Level 4
• DSCI and WSI Certification is internal TotalEnergies references, linked to Chain of Command certification. It´s a not a requirement but it will be beneficial to have.
• Offshore certificates - BOSIET with CA-EBS, Medial and H2S.
