You will work on backend and system-level testing for Core Java, emphasizing testability and maintainability, with both automation and manual testing across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering or related field.
• Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• ISTQB/TMAP certification is preferred.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Experience with test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and specifications.
• Create and maintain test cases and test plans.
• Test new features and existing functionality.
• Execute different flavors of testing e.g. functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
• Work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile meetings.
• Maintain test documentation and provide test status updates.
• Support test automation activities where applicable.
• Ensure software is ready for release by meeting quality standards.
