LEGO Group is seeking a Senior Service Designer to shape data platform products with a user-centered mindset. You will influence how services are designed, sitting in the Data Office within the Digital Platforms and Infrastructure domain, and collaborate closely with product teams and engineers.
You will facilitate workshops, develop service blueprints, and guide Product Managers toward user-centric product development while contributing to strategic decisions and governance.
Just imagine helping thousands of colleagues navigate data and knowledge platforms through experiences that feel intuitive, connected, and truly useful. Then make it real.
As our Senior Service Designer - Data Platforms, you'll help create a user‑centred experience across the tools and services offered throughout the organisation. This is the first Service Design role in the Data Office, giving you a unique opportunity to influence how products are shaped and experienced. You'll sit within the Design competency in Digital Platforms and Infrastructure while dedicating your work to Data Office initiatives. Your service design practice will help inform product portfolio decisions and support the implementation of the Data Office's digital strategy.
You’ll join a close team of eight designers working to strengthen the LEGO Group’s digital foundation. The team benefits from strong leadership support for customer‑centric thinking and a well‑established service design network within the broader Digital organisation, with shared tools, case studies, and expertise. We work in a hybrid rhythm, coming together to the office on certain days, starting each week as a team, and holding regular design critiques and learning sessions. You’ll collaborate closely with product teams and bring strong facilitation skills, clear communication, and the ability to simplify complexity for different audiences. This position will be in our LEGO Hub in Copenhagen, soon moving to Postbyen.
Success means helping The Data Office to confidently use user‑centred methods to prioritise and shape their products. You’ll contribute journey maps and service blueprints that become part of planning and decision‑making for key initiatives. Over the next 12‑18 months, the team is focused on proving the value of service design, supporting user‑centred prioritisation, and helping shape future growth of capability. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, fellow designers, a student worker, and the Head of Design in Digital Platforms and Infrastructure to make that happen.
