Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Senior Technical Sales Engineer to provide advanced presales support and design tailored applications for data center customers. You will work with sales, engineering and customers, review RFxs, and coordinate with factory teams to deliver competitive proposals and tenders.

You will join a large team of Application Engineers and Technical Sales Experts, gaining access to training and career development opportunities, with occasional travel to engage with customers and partners in

Qualifications

• Solid technical background with an engineering degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Offering, Engineering, Pre-Sales or Product Marketing.
• Fluent in English and at least one local language.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and across regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex presales technical support by reviewing RFx and identifying requirements.
• Coordinate with factory engineering for technical requests.
• Design and deliver innovative solutions to gain competitive advantages.
• Manage relationships between Sales, Engineering and other stakeholders.
• Create and present product and application presentations for customers.
• Provide internal and external trainings.
• Travel abroad occasionally and engage in events with customers.
• Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct and Trade Compliance.
• Collect and act on voice of the customer.
• Provide feedback to Vertiv on product offerings.
