Job summary

Ramboll in Vejle, Denmark seeks a Junior Power Systems Engineer to deliver electrical design for datacenters, BESS, solar PV, and industrial plants, covering HV/MV/LV systems and grid connections.

You will work with a cross‑disciplinary team on FEED and detailed engineering, perform load flow and protection studies, and support procurement and client interactions to translate project needs into robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Finalizing your B.Sc./B.Eng. Electrical Engineering or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, or recent graduate.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of HV, MV and LV electrical systems according to standards and interfaces.
• Prepare and review technical specifications for transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing and protection systems.
• Provide input to procurement, including supplier dialogue, tender evaluations and clarifications.
• Contribute to concept, feasibility and FEED studies with engineering options and recommendations.
• Perform load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination and grid connection studies as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions in energy projects.
• Support client dialogue and translate project requirements into robust deliverables; participate in FAT/SAT and handover steps.
