Job summary

Hyve Solutions is recruiting a Senior Power Design Engineer to drive board and system level voltage regulator design for compute and AI servers. You will cover from design proposals to end-of-project delivery and collaborate with hardware teams to ensure robust power integrity and reliable performance.

The role requires hands-on schematic, layout, PI simulations, and firmware reviews to ensure timely tape-out and successful integration of VR solutions. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Basic concept in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity with EDA tools (OrCAD Capture, Allegro PCB) or Python.
• Basic lab hands-on experience with test equipment.
• Possess documentation skills and proactive learning attitude.
• No prior server/enterprise experience required—training provided.

Responsibilities

• Design proposals on RFI/RFP stage.
• Create schematic after project kickoff.
• Support layout placement/routing after schematic completion.
• Improve PI simulations for VR portions (IR drop/current density).
• Review VR firmware before tape-out; support firmware fixes.
• Validate VR solutions (1st and 2nd sources) and fix firmware.
