Job summary

atNorth in Denmark is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, budgeting, and commercial planning across our data center developments. You will work with Commercial Managers, Design Teams, and construction partners to ensure cost transparency and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 5+ years in quantity surveying or cost estimation on large-scale projects.
• Experience with BoQ preparation, cost analysis, and change management.
• Fluent English; Nordic language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimation and quantity surveying across the lifecycle from concept to detailed design.
• Develop standardized cost models, benchmarks, and estimating methods for consistency.
• Produce cost plans, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support budgets.
• Evaluate changes and variations, providing clear cost impact assessments.
• Support procurement and tendering with BoQs, pricing structures, and evaluations.
• Validate contractor estimates and tenders ensuring alignment with design and targets.
• Provide commercial insight to support negotiations and procurement decisions.
• Monitor cost performance across projects; identify deviations, risks, opportunities.
• Assess the commercial impact of change requests and claims with governance in mind.
• Capture lessons learned to improve estimation methodologies and reporting.
