Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer in Copenhagen to lead architecture, design and delivery of their DEP 2.0 platform. You will drive backend development, DevOps practices, and collaboration across frontend and data teams.

You will mentor peers, influence technical direction, and embrace new technologies in a cloud-native Azure environment with flexible hybrid work and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of development experience across backend, frontend and DevOps.
• Hands-on coding with C#/.NET and cloud-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Feature development for DEP 2.0 and related platforms.
• Lead architecture discussions and guide teammates.

We provide a cloud native SaaS product built on Azure using modern development principles, technologies and practices.The product, Digital Engagement Platform (DEP) has been operational for 3 years and based in client feedback and our own experience we have begun to lift the product to the next level, modernizing architecture and tech stack so we can scale DEP for a much larger audience than we can today.This is why we need you - to help design and build a new DEP 2.0 that can support the biggest clients, asset managers, across the globe.WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FORFeature developmentDevOps discussions and implementations.Design and Architecture: Work together with other software engineers and architect to define and refine the product architecture and roadmapGuide and support other team mates to ensure the spread of knowledge and experience.Keep up to date with the latest technologies and find ways to improve the existing softwareParticipate in support activities and client communicationTo be successful in this job you are a very experienced developer. You have deep expertise in backend development and DevOps, and you are familiar with frontend development. You are a hands-on developer who loves to create high-quality code, and you can offer technical direction and leadership and collaboration with colleagues - architect and teammates - when creating an architecture, a design or just troubleshooting.WHAT WE VALUEYou properly have a degree in computer science and 10+ years of experience in development.
