Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to shape and improve manufacturing processes for electronics and mechatronics products. You will work on complex box-build solutions like the SMART Brick, supporting new product introductions, verification, and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate across global teams to ensure LEGO quality standards while advancing manufacturing capabilities. This role is based in Budapest, Hungary or Billund, Denmark, with a hybrid rhythm including

Qualifications

• Delivered mechanical, mechatronic, or electrical engineering solutions with a relevant BSc degree
• 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing environments
• Experience with assembly processes and production equipment
• Led investigations, testing, validation, or process verification to improve performance
• Managed engineering changes or process optimization with measurable outcomes

Responsibilities

• Support standardisation and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment
• Provide technical guidance for equipment development with external suppliers
• Develop and maintain digital engineering tools for manufacturing
• Verify and test process and equipment performance
• Investigate process variables and their impact on outcomes
• Assess auxiliary equipment, tooling and process parameters for quality
• Learn existing processes and take ownership of projects and improvements
• Build engineering cases and present findings to stakeholders
