Job summary

MITS Industries is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Copenhagen R&D team to build the mechanical design capability for antenna and RF systems. You will design and implement mechanical solutions for antenna systems and RF assemblies, including enclosures, mounts, radomes, thermal solutions, and platform interfaces, with close co-design with RF engineers.

Qualifications

Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of professional mechanical design experience.
Proven ownership of complex mechanical assemblies from concept to production.

Responsibilities

Translate system requirements into mechanical architectures and constraints.
Design components for antenna systems, including enclosures and mounts.
Own detailed CAD models, drawings, GD&T, and BOMs.
Ensure mechanical designs maintain RF performance via co-design with RF engineers.
Lead prototype build, testing, and design verification.
Collaborate with antenna, RF, and manufacturing teams.
Develop mechanical specs and production handover docs.
