Job summary

MITS Industries is establishing a Copenhagen R&D site focused on advanced RF systems and mission-critical aerospace technologies. We seek a Senior Antenna Systems Engineer to build the antenna design capability, lead architecture, simulations, prototyping, and validation for satellite platforms and defense applications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in electrical or electronic engineering, antenna engineering, electromagnetics, RF engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in antenna-system design and development.
• Strong hands-on experience with antenna elements, arrays, feed networks, and matching structures.
• Proficiency with full-wave EM simulation tools (HFSS, CST) and platform-integrated designs.
• Experience with antenna measurement techniques including S-parameters and radiation patterns.

Responsibilities

• Translate system and mission requirements into antenna-system architectures, specifications, and design trade-offs.
• Perform full-wave EM simulations and optimization of antennas, arrays, and radomes.
• Own antenna placement, integration, RF interfaces, grounding, and EMC.
• Define requirements for radomes, supports, enclosures, and antenna assemblies.
• Develop prototypes and lead tuning, troubleshooting, and design verification.
• Prepare design documentation and production handover materials.
• Collaborate with system, RF, mechanical, and test teams.
