Job summary

MITS Industries in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior RF / Microwave Hardware Engineer to build the RF design capability for an aerospace and defense-focused site.

You will own RF hardware from concept through prototyping, testing, and validation, interfacing with system architects, antenna engineers, and production teams. This role demands hands-on expertise, strong ownership, and a track record of delivering manufacturable RF modules.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering (RF/microwave).
• 7+ years of professional RF/microwave hardware design experience.
• Hands-on in RF circuits, multilayer PCBs, modules, subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into RF hardware architecture and design budgets.
• Design RF/microwave circuits, modules, and signal paths with bias and control circuitry.
• Perform RF performance analysis: sensitivity, noise figure, dynamic range, IP3, phase noise.
• Create RF schematics and own PCB implementation with controlled-impedance routing.
• Run circuit and electromagnetic simulations; correlate with lab measurements.
• Lead prototype bring-up, tuning, and design verification in collaboration with teams.
• Integrate RF hardware with antenna systems and platform interfaces.
• Contribute to EMC/EMI assessment, environmental qualification, and production release.
• Prepare hardware specs, BOMs, and production-release documents.
