Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Senior Manager - Next-Gen Pre-Pack Counting Lead in Billund. You will own counting technology roadmaps, shape equipment architecture, and drive scalable production solutions across connected systems.

Lead specialist teams, align with project leaders, suppliers, and production stakeholders to ensure feasibility and deployment. You will mentor teams, define requirements, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance while traveling 4–6 weeks per year to collaborate with

Qualifications

• Educational background within mechanical/marine engineering, automation or equivalent technical experience.
• Extensive automation experience in high-volume production with focus on innovation and quality.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
• Delivered operational excellence using LEAN principles to create scalable production solutions.
• Proven leadership in collaborating with R&D, suppliers, and production sites to implement new technologies.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for counting technology within the Next Gen Packing Equipment programme.
• Lead specialist teams and own workstream scope, quality, timing, and cost.
• Gather requirements and align specifications with project leaders and partners.
• Shape equipment architecture and reduce interface risks between subsystems.
• Develop concepts, prototypes, and test performance for feasibility.
• Define operating concepts, installation plans, and manufacturing-readiness requirements.
• Ensure maintainability, safety, environmental compliance, and LEGO standards.
• Travel approximately four to six weeks annually to collaborate with partners and sites.
