Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Next-Gen Pre-Pack counting technology. You will own the roadmap, define scalable counting methods, and shape the equipment architecture across connected systems.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration across R&D, suppliers and production sites, and travel four to six weeks yearly. Ideal candidates bring mechanical/automation background, extensive high-volume automation experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Educational background within mechanical/marine engineering, automation or equivalent technical experience.
• Extensive automation experience in high-volume production with focus on innovation and quality.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
• LEAN-based operational excellence to create reliable, scalable production solutions.
• Functional leadership across R&D, suppliers and production sites.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the counting technology roadmap for LEGO element portfolio.
• Define counting methods that are efficient, reliable and scalable.
• Shape equipment architecture and reduce interface risks across subsystems.
• Lead specialist teams and own workstream scope, quality, timing and cost.
• Travel approximately four to six weeks annually to collaborate with partners and sites.
• Ensure maintainability, safety, environmental compliance, and LEGO standards.
