Zusammenfassung

BEC Financial Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Regulatory Reporting team within Reporting Solutions, focusing on Credit Risk and regulatory reporting data. You will work with IBM mainframe stack, SQL, Java or Python, and modern data platforms to deliver reliable data for SA-CR and FINREP.

The role requires strong collaboration across analysts, engineers and architects, with English fluency and experience from banking IT.

Qualifikationen

• 5y+ work experience as Senior Software Engineer from Banking or financial IT
• Extensive work experience with IBM z/OS Mainframe stack (COBOL, CICS, IDz - IBM Developer for z/OS), DB2-database, JCL – Job Control Language
• Extensive programming skills in SQL
• Experience with either Java or Python and willingness to expand knowledge in these areas Preferably, work experience from the banking sector in Denmark or banks under regulations from EBA

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Manage incidents and problems effectively in close collaboration with colleagues and clients
• Maintain and develop systems, data, and platforms within the business area of Credit Risk
• Ensure stable operations through maintenance, housekeeping, and quality improvements
• Design and maintain end-to-end data processing flows for our Credit Risk - Standardized Approach and other applications within the team
• Develop high-quality business solutions based on business requirements in close cooperation with key stakeholders internally in BEC and clients
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Architects in Reporting Solutions to ensure high-quality, reliable, and well-governed data foundations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the development process and client engagement
