Job summary

Saxo Bank A/S is seeking a Senior Software/Data Engineer to join the FCP Modelling & Development team in Denmark. You will build and maintain data products and ETL pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable data flows used across financial crime prevention processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related production data role.
• Strong Python, SQL, and Spark skills with production data pipelines and data models.
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Kafka, Snowflake, Airflow, Azure, or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting ML workflows, feature data preparation, and production-ready model inputs.
• Deployment skills for production workloads including CI/CD, containers, and orchestration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and improve AML data products, data-modelling components, and user-facing interfaces with clear ownership and quality controls.
• Design robust ETL pipelines and integration interfaces for production and analytical use cases.
• Translate requirements into durable production systems, contributing to architecture decisions for scalability and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with subject-matter experts on transaction monitoring, client risk rating, and AML-related development initiatives.
• Define automated checks for data quality, integrity, and governance standards.
• Own observability, alerting, incident response, and production support for critical data assets.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, mentoring, and secure coding practices.
