Arla Foods is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to lead the AI governance agenda and drive the organization from experimenting with AI to scaled, responsible adoption. You will partner with business zones, IT and senior leadership to translate opportunities into tangible roadmaps and outcomes across Agents, Copilot and automation.

This is a global, strategic role in a premier dairy company with a strong culture of learning and collaboration.

Formación

• Experience leading AI, technology or digital transformation initiatives in a large complex organization.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable initiatives for IT & Digital teams.
• Strong governance, risk and compliance knowledge in AI/data contexts.
• Proven stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.

• Lead the AI governance agenda, including policies, standards and controls across AI use cases.
• Drive transformation by shaping PoCs, MVPs, and value cases to scale solutions.
• Enable adoption with clear frameworks and reusable patterns for product teams.
• Partner with senior leaders to map AI opportunities to roadmaps and actions.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and drive collaboration across teams.
• Communicate progress and build momentum for AI initiatives at Arla.

How You Will Make An Impact

This role combines hands-on thought leadership with transformation execution. You will operate as a key driver in the CIO Office - shaping how AI is governed and embedded into everyday work.

As our new Senior IT Specialist you will take ownership of the AI governance framework and cross-functional collaboration model, ensuring that AI is used responsibly, effectively, and at scale across Arla. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business zones and functions, external partners, IT and senior leadership and act as a connector between strategy, governance, and delivery teams to drive tangible business value and outcomes.

• Lead the end-to-end AI governance agenda, including policies, standards, and controls across Agents, Copilot, and automation use cases
• Drive business transformation through AI by identifying opportunities, shaping PoCs and MVPs, defining value cases, and leading the transition from experiments to scaled solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
• Enable adoption of AI by defining clear frameworks, practical guidelines, and reusable patterns for business and IT product teams
• Partner with senior leaders to translate emerging AI opportunities into strategic decisions, roadmaps, and practical actions that create business value
• Facilitate workshops and drive collaboration across platform teams, architects, product teams, and business functions
• Lead communication and storytelling that builds confidence, clarity, and momentum around AI at Arla

What Will Make You Successful

To succeed in this role, you bring solid experience driving AI, technology, or digital transformation initiatives in a complex organisation. Ideally, you have worked in a similar role within a large global company. Alternatively, you come from a consulting background where AI, emerging technologies, and business transformation have been a core part of your work.

• Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance, ideally in the context of AI or data
• Proven ability to drive adoption and influence without formal authority across multiple teams
• Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical experts and senior business leaders
• A pragmatic mindset – able to translate strategy into initiatives that drives real business value, that can be actionable by our IT & Digital organisation
• Strong communicator with the ability to drive fact-based storytelling and engagement
• Solid understanding of business challenges and opportunities in a large internal cooperation ideally in a FMCG context
• Confident in building business cases that demonstrates tangible business value
