Job summary

Trackunit seeks a senior expert in IoT certifications, standards, and licensing to own SEP exposure, regulatory approvals, and governance for a multi-region device portfolio. You will work with suppliers, legal, product, and engineering to shape licensing strategy and ensure compliant, timely certifications.

The role offers hybrid work from Denmark with executive visibility and direct impact on commercial outcomes in the construction IoT space.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with cellular device approvals and licensing.
• Deep understanding of SEP, FRAND, and patent pools.
• Hands-on regulatory certification across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Own SEP position across device portfolio and licensing programs.
• Run supplier licensing due diligence and disclosure of gaps.
• Support licensing negotiations with legal and economics teams.
• Manage global type approvals and regional certifications (RED/CE, FCC, UKCA).
• Monitor regulatory changes and adapt roadmap accordingly.
• Create clear customer-facing guidance and internal playbooks.
• Develop governance and escalation protocols for licensing.
