Job summary

DFDS seeks an senior FP&A professional to shape decisions that guide critical infrastructure across Europe. Based at our Copenhagen headquarters, you will link strategy, forecasts and decisions, steering financial models and materials used by EMT and the Board.

You will lead cross-functional work streams, set modeling standards, and act as sparring partner to senior leaders across Group and BUs. The role combines analytical rigor with strategic influence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 7+ years FP&A, strategic finance, Group performance management, or related experience.
• Proven track record presenting decision material to EMT/Board.
• Expert-level financial modelling for short- and long-term planning, scenario modelling, and investment/valuation analysis.
• Ability to lead without formal authority: drive projects, align stakeholders and influence senior leaders.
• Analytical mindset with a self-starter attitude, able to identify opportunities and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Strategic financial modelling: build, own and develop the Group’s financial models and scenario planning.
• EMT and Board decision material: prepare and own decision material with clear recommendations and trade-offs.
• Financial planning and forecasts: drive global planning and forecasting tied to strategic choices.
• Project management: lead cross-functional analyses end-to-end and raise analytical standards.
• Strategic sparring: act as a trusted partner on investments, M&A and strategic initiatives.
• Ad hoc analysis: analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and explain variances.
