Job summary

Lunar is seeking a Senior Finance Systems & Data Engineer in Copenhagen to own Lunar's financial data architecture, from core banking platforms to the data warehouse and into Business Central.

You will automate the month-end close, reconciling source systems with the general ledger, and serve as a system owner for finance tools while collaborating across finance, product and tech teams to raise data quality and enable AI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in an architect, engineering or finance systems role or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation and modelling.
• Experience with ERP/finance systems such as Business Central and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Own design of Lunar's financial data architecture from core banking to data warehouse.
• Lead automation of month-end close, improving speed and reliability.
• Query and reconcile data issues, identify root cause and drive resolution.
• Act as system owner for Business Central and related finance tools, managing config and releases.
• Bridge finance, product and tech; set data quality standards and translate needs into tech requirements.
