Job summary

Lunar is hiring an Analytics Engineer to join the Money Core – Regulatory squad in Copenhagen. You will build and own dbt models on Lunar's data warehouse to generate regulator-ready outputs and maintain a versioned storage layer for reproducible reporting.

You will define data contracts for events, enforce change-management for regulatory models, and collaborate with Airflow to orchestrate dbt runs and exports. The role involves engaging with legal and compliance as Lunar grows.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with experience building and maintaining dbt models on a modern data warehouse, including ongoing testing.
• Experience with data quality, lineage, or data contract practices across teams, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with data classification or tagging approaches for sensitive data (PII, financial fields).
• Comfortable translating regulatory requirements into a technical change-request process.

Responsibilities

• Build and own dbt models on Lunar's data warehouse to turn validated events into regulator-ready reporting outputs.
• Work with a versioned storage layer for reportable snapshots to reproduce/audit reported periods.
• Define and maintain the data contract product events against which squads publish, and enforce it.
• Set up and run a lightweight change-management process for regulatory dbt models.
• Work with Airflow DAGs that orchestrate dbt runs and scheduled regulatory exports.
• Stay close to new and upcoming regulatory scope as Lunar's product footprint grows.
