Job summary

Lunar Denmark is looking for an Analytics Engineer to join the Money Core – Regulatory squad in Copenhagen. You will build and own dbt models on Lunar's data warehouse to produce regulator-ready outputs and harmonize the regulatory data layer.

You’ll implement a versioned storage layer for reproducible reports, define data contracts, and collaborate with legal and compliance to translate requirements into technical changes.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and experience building dbt models on a modern data warehouse.
• Experience with data quality, lineage, or data contracts across teams in regulated environments.
• Familiar with data classification for PII/financial fields.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical changes.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity as a new team; help shape ways of working.
• Nice to have: XML or other structured regulatory formats.

Responsibilities

• Build and own dbt models on Lunar's data warehouse to produce regulator-ready reporting outputs.
• Work with a versioned storage layer for reportable snapshots for reproducibility and auditability.
• Define and maintain data contracts that squads publish against and enforce them.
• Set up lightweight change-management processes for regulatory dbt models.
• Coordinate with Airflow or orchestration for regulatory exports.
• Stay aligned with evolving regulatory scope as Lunar grows.
