Job summary

Lunar Denmark, based in Copenhagen, is hiring a Senior Finance Systems & Data Engineer to own Lunar's financial data architecture, from core banking through the ledger and into Business Central. You will automate the month-end close and resolve data issues hands-on, ensuring data quality across finance systems.

You will act as a bridge between finance, product and tech, owning Business Central and related tools, setting standards and driving AI-enabled improvements with external vendors when

Qualifications

• 8+ years in an architect, engineering or finance systems role.
• Strong hands-on SQL and Python for extracting, transforming and modelling data.
• Experience owning or administering finance systems such as an ERP and building with AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of Lunar's financial data architecture across core banking, the ledger and the data warehouse into Business Central.
• Lead automation of the month-end close, replacing manual steps until it's fast, reliable and boring.
• Troubleshoot data issues hands-on, reconciling and driving resolution instead of passing it along.
• Be system owner for Business Central and related finance tools, managing configuration, access, releases and incidents.
• Bridge finance, product and tech to set data quality standards and translate needs for data squads, with AI integration in mind.
