Job summary

Hamamatsu Photonics is a dynamic, international high-tech company leading in lasers and photonics, seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer for full lifecycle development of laser electronics. You will work with experts from optics, mechanics and software to deliver high-margin, small-volume systems.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in electronics and extensive PCB experience, with strong collaboration and external-partner engagement. Excellent English required.

Qualifications

• Senior roles in PCB development across full product life cycle.
• Strong collaboration with management and other engineering disciplines.
• Proven track record of PCB productization.
• Deep knowledge of analog design, power and control loops or related areas.
• Experience with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Electronics development for laser products throughout lifecycle.
• Collaborate with optics and mechanics on system design.
• Own project work packages and ensure delivery within deadlines and budgets.
• Communicate with stakeholders across R&D.
• Create innovative design concepts and reference designs.
• Support manufacturing of laser products and custom orders.
• Ensure product compliance and certification.
