Job summary

Coalesce Management Consultancy seeks a senior Systems Engineering Consultant to lead PCBA/embedded design for wind turbine electronics, with high-reliability boards exposed to lightning. The role requires on-site performance and collaboration with the client’s teams.

You will implement surge protection, EMI/EMC hardening, perform FMEA, align with manufacturing capabilities, and support certification and functional safety activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electronics design, focusing on PCBA and embedded systems.
• Experience designing for harsh, mission-critical environments (outdoors, antennas, radar, etc.).
• Strong layout, grounding and signal integrity expertise; wear with surge protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCBA design for wind turbine zones, blade-mounted electronics.
• Implement surge protection, transient suppression and EMC/EMI hardening.
• Perform FMEA focusing on lightning-induced failures and cascading risks.
• Align designs with manufacturing capabilities and support certification and functional safety activities.
