Coalesce Management Consultancy (CMC) have a consulting assignment available for a Senior Systems Engineer, to work on a project we have in Copenhagen, Denmark.

We are looking to support one of our project teams with a Senior Systems Engineer, for a project we are supporting a client with.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on the development of our next-generation Power Plant Controller (PPC). The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer capable of integrating into an agile team to deliver high-quality software for controlling and optimizing wind power plants. This role requires working on complex, integrated software systems in a fast-paced environment with critical project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for the Power Plant Controller (PPC) using C and C++.
• Apply model-based design principles, utilizing MATLAB/Simulink for control algorithm development and simulation.
• Collaborate with the product owner and team members within a "flow agile" (hybrid waterfall/agile) framework to deliver features in defined sprints.
• Work on a large, integrated software system, managing dependencies and ensuring seamless functionality across components.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Support the team in meeting contractual obligations for large-scale wind farm sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, preferably within the renewable energy or industrial automation sector.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Extensive experience with MATLAB and Simulink for model-based design.
• Experience working with complex, integrated software systems.
• Understanding of control systems theory and application (highly beneficial).Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• A "hands-on" approach and a willingness to learn and adapt to the organization's specific development processes.

You would be able to operate as an independent consultant or employed consultant for this assignment, which I can support with. You will also be required to go on-site.
