Job summary

Arting Green in North Zealand is seeking an Electronics Engineer to help develop the embedded hardware behind the next generation of defence products. You will work across electronics, embedded software and mechanical engineering in a lean, fast-moving team.

You will design and validate embedded hardware, create schematics and PCB layouts (Altium), and collaborate on hardware-software integration. The role emphasizes hands-on development and rapid decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Electronics Engineering experience.
• PCB design and layout experience.
• Proficiency with Altium or comparable tools.
• Embedded systems and microcontroller knowledge.
• EMC/ESD-conscious design practices.
• Experience with RS422, UART, SPI, I2C or Ethernet.
• Testing, troubleshooting and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with optoelectronics/power/RF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate embedded hardware
• Develop schematics and PCB layouts, primarily in Altium
• Collaborate on hardware-software integration
• Develop and troubleshoot using RS422, UART, SPI, I2C and Ethernet
• Work with microcontrollers and embedded platforms
• Design reliable, EMC/ESD-conscious electronics
• Optimise hardware for manufacturability and demanding environments
• Participate in testing, verification and troubleshooting
• Provide technical input to product/project decisions
• Prepare design, test and compliance documentation
