Job summary

atNorth is seeking a Senior Technical Lead - Electrical to guide electrical systems and critical power infrastructure across Nordic data centres. You will set technical direction, review designs, and ensure reliability throughout asset lifecycles.

You’ll collaborate with Operations, Design and Development teams, lead investigations, and mentor staff while traveling across the Nordic region as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments.
• Experience delivering data centre engineering projects and leading technical teams.
• Strong commissioning, system integration, and asset lifecycle management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead and signatory for electrical designs and standards.
• Provide leadership across LV and MV distribution, UPS, generators, batteries, and protection systems.
• Drive design reviews, commissioning, and technical handovers for readiness and reliability.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and operating procedures across the Nordic portfolio.
• Collaborate with Design, Development and Operations to integrate new infrastructure.
• Lead investigations and root-cause analysis for complex electrical issues.
• Serve as primary electrical advisor for stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and support innovation in critical power systems.
• Drive training and knowledge sharing across teams and lifecycle improvements.
