Job summary

Ramboll seeks a Project Director / Senior Chief Engineer – Power Transmission and Grid Integration to lead electrical system design for utility-scale installations. You will guide FEED through construction and collaborate with global Power Systems experts to deliver impactful projects.

Ideal candidates have OEM experience, hands-on modelling, and deep know-how of grid-forming equipment, FACTS, PowerFactory and PSCAD, plus five+ years leading large electrical packages.

Qualifications

Extensive experience leading electrical design for large-scale power transmission projects.
Hands-on modelling and strong OEM background.
Deep knowledge of grid-forming equipment and FACTS.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical system design from feasibility and FEED through design, execution and construction.
Lead development of optimized designs to connect utility-scale assets to the grid.
Lead dialogue with TSO/DSO to address requirements through design.
Oversee engineering for large power installations including tender facilitation and quality assurance.
Collaborate with engineering, project management and client leadership to ensure outcomes.
