Job summary

Xcede in Copenhagen, Denmark, seeks a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical scope of large-scale data centre builds. You will manage design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, and quality across complex electrical systems.

The role demands strong leadership, extensive experience in data centres, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across Europe.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Electrical Project Manager.
• Experience delivering data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear.
• Experience managing electrical contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical delivery of large-scale data centre projects.
• Oversee electrical installations, coordination, and quality across all phases.
• Manage subcontractors, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery aligns with programme, budget, safety and quality.
• Review electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with mechanical, construction, commissioning, and client teams.
• Manage project risks, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Support commissioning, testing, and final handover.
• Ensure compliance with standards and health & safety.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to project teams.
