Job summary

COWI in Lyngby is seeking a Senior Construction Manager for district heating projects. You will lead construction management across sites, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery while maximizing value for clients and partners.

Collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams, you will balance technical excellence with commercial performance, mentor colleagues, and drive the growth of COWI’s district heating portfolio in a dynamic energy market.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in construction management, preferably in district heating or energy infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of planning, cost control, and contract administration.
• Commercial mindset with ability to translate client needs into opportunities.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction management activities from planning to handover.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for value.
• Manage contractors, site activities, schedules, budgets, risks, and safety.
• Support tender preparation, estimating, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across projects.
• Mentor colleagues to strengthen team capabilities.
