Job summary

At COWI, we are seeking a Mechanical Lead with data centre experience to drive the mechanical design of hyperscale facilities across Scandinavia. You will lead technical design, coordinate disciplines, and shape robust HVAC solutions from concept through to construction.

Based at one of our Scandinavian offices (Lyngby, Aarhus or Odense), you will collaborate with engineers, architects and clients to deliver energy-efficient, reliable data centre environments while expanding our expertise in

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering data centre projects, ideally within hyperscale, colocation or enterprise environments.
• Lead mechanical design work within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience from hyperscale data centre projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and advisory services for data centre facilities.
• Act as the discipline lead, ensuring technical quality and coordination throughout projects.
• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for hyperscale and enterprise data centers.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Support projects through concept development, detailed design, tendering and construction phases.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
