Novonesis is seeking a (Senior) Data Engineer to join the Digital Enablement Team within Product & Process Development. You will design and build scalable data pipelines, work with scientists and digital specialists, and shape data platforms across Benchling and Databricks to accelerate scientific innovation.

You will lead by example, apply modern data-engineering practices, and help create reusable components that strengthen data accessibility and lifecycle ownership across the organization.

Competenze

• MSc in CS, software engineering, data engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines and data solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with APIs, data modeling, version control, testing, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience collaborating with scientists and engineers; English proficiency.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and implement robust data pipelines, integrations, scalable data flows, and reusable components across PPD.
• Partner with scientists to translate needs into reliable data solutions.
• Provide leadership on architecture, APIs, data quality, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
