Job summary

Novonesis in Bagsværd, Denmark, is seeking an AI Engineer to translate scientific challenges into scalable AI workflows. You will build and deploy AI-enabled pipelines that support researchers and business functions across PPD, aligning with enterprise platforms and data foundations.

You will collaborate with scientists, data engineers, and platform teams, applying strong Python skills and experience with ML models, APIs, and lifecycle management to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field; English proficiency.
• Experience developing AI/ML/LLM-enabled solutions in production or user-facing environments.
• Strong Python programming with models, APIs, data pipelines, and modern software practices.
• Experience moving AI solutions from PoC to deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement AI-enabled scientific workflows.
• Design and develop solutions using enterprise AI platforms, models and data foundations.
• Contribute to end-to-end R&D initiatives connecting data, models, tools and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with scientists and local digital teams to understand user needs.
• Support adoption, integration and lifecycle management of AI solutions.
