Job summary

LEGO Group seeks a Senior Construction Commercial Manager to lead commercial governance for EMEA brownfield projects. You will own cost management, forecasting, change control, and reporting while shaping significant investment decisions.

In this role you will work independently within a global team, drive value engineering and cost optimization, and collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to deliver sustainable value.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial management, quantity surveying, construction management or cost management within large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in design and construction tender process, cost planning, cost control, forecasting, contract administration, and change management.
• Skills in influencing commercial decisions through value engineering, cost optimization, and robust recommendations.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen to translate cost, schedule and data into actionable insights for executives.
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Construction, Procurement, Engineering, Operations, and Program teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial activities for EMEA brownfield projects, ensuring cost governance, transparency, risk management, and budget adherence.
• Lead cost planning and forecasting, including change management, estimate reviews, cashflow forecasting, and contingency oversight.
• Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives to maximize project value.
• Develop commercial reporting and dashboards showing cost, risk exposure, and project performance.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and external partners to ensure governance.
• Support Discovery Projects with early-stage cost validation and land readiness assessments.
• Provide commercial insights and recommendations to senior leadership on governance and risk.
