Job summary

H&MV Engineering is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the regional commercial team and drive profitable growth across high‑voltage, renewable, data centre, and utility projects. You will report to the Regional Commercial Director and manage pricing, tenders, and contract administration, ensuring compliance and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years’ experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors with at least 3 years at Commercial Management level.
• Strong understanding of commercial, financial, and contractual principles, including NEC, JCT, FIDIC.
• Professional membership with RICS, SCSI or equivalent preferable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional commercial team, providing accurate and timely commercial support to stakeholders.
• Develop and refine commercial strategies to enable sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
• Oversee all pricing, tender submissions, contract negotiations, and contract administration.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, costs, and profit margins and guide project teams on scope changes and claims.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and external partners to support long‑term success.
• Produce regular commercial performance reports for senior management and ensure documentation is accurate.
