Job summary

Siemens Energy in Denmark is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead substation engineering for onshore substations, offshore wind projects, PtX technologies, and energy transmission initiatives. You will drive the bid-to-execution process and handover to service, coordinating with sales, project management, procurement, and international units.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in high voltage substation design and engineering.
Knowledge of subsystems included in substations such as AIS, GIS, oil-filled components, compensation systems, HV/MV cables and terminations, auxiliaries.
Experience with Danish legislation 1608 and HV substations in field roles.
Basic understanding of cyber security in projects.
Strong ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate overall single-line diagrams and substation layouts with the 3D team.
Coordinate electrotechnical drawings related to the scope.
Plan installation and commissioning phase input.
Support Procurement in supplier selection and onboarding.
Collaborate with project managers and other technical specialists.
Coordinate technical procurement of materials for the substation.
Execute QA of suppliers’ deliverables.
Coordinate civil design input with partners.
