Job summary

BEC is seeking a Cobol software engineer (Regular or Senior) to join the Business Banking Initiative in Roskilde, Denmark. You will work with a co-located team in Roskilde and Warsaw to implement a modern liquidity management solution and ensure robust development practices.

Requirements include a university degree in IT/CS, hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, IDz, DB2, JCL, Git, Bitbucket and ServiceNow, plus strong English and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow Software Engineers, Product Owner, Business Analyst and Team Architect on deliveries.
• Develop, test, design and analyse stories and bugs identified by the team.
• Support the testing process with troubleshooting and bug fixes.
• Refine new stories, evaluate technical feasibility and design.
